With a good wet winter, the vineyard was ideally positioned to support the vines
throughout the growing season. With a low yield year, the grapes produced were
concentrated in flavour and of the highest quality.
Premium estate shiraz parcels were harvested at site-specific times across five
weeks, allowing for true varietal and regional expression. Fermented in small
batches, these parcels were kept separate throughout the winery process to
maximise each parcel’s uniqueness. The partial whole bunch ferments were
submerged, adding to the richness and complexity as well as quickly developing
into a silky and balanced wine.

With a deep red colour and violet hue, the 2017 Estate Shiraz emanates aromas of
red berries and light spices with earthy tones. This aroma is balanced perfectly with
a medium-bodied wine that is equally rich in flavour. The dark forest fruits and
subtle oak flavours complement the persistent dusty tannins and chocolate notes
on finish.
