Harvest/Winemaking
A warmer year, coming off the back of a drought, in conjunction with early season rainfall, brought about idyllic conditions for the fruit to develop intense phenolic and flavour ripeness. Open‐top
fermentation in small batches allowed this wine to develop its balance and intensity.
Winemaker Comments
The Shiraz provides a real depth of body and structure, while the Mourvèdre brings intense colour and spice, which is all rounded of perfectly with the aromatics of lovely stone fruits from the Viognier.
This wine has great depth, balance and structure and beautiful velvety texture. It will age with grace for over a decade.
