At Taltarni, we aim to produce a Merlot of classic sturcture for bottle development rather than an early drinking style.
This 1986 wine follows the particular success of our two previous releases, both of which were well received by an enthusiastic following of collectors. Characterised by concentrated fruit and firm structure from small oak, our 1986 Merlot should be drinking beuatifully from about 1992 onwards, until at least 2000 and, perhaps beyond.
