Discovery Grenache Touriga 2022

The 2022 Growing season was temperate compared to traditional seasons on the estate. The vines had ideal growing conditions with minimum heat and water stress allowing the two key components of this blend to exhibit more delicate and subtle characteristics normally associated with their varieties. 

Recent plantings of the Grenache and Touriga has given us much more scope to pursue blends within our Discovery Range that we feel deliver wines that are intriguing in nature and rich in style and finesse. Each varietal was fermented separately in small open-top vessels, the fruit was handled lightly with minimal mechanical intervention to allow the true nature of the estate-grown fruit to be on display.
